Join EEAI for a deeper dive into Project Learning Tree & Project WILD and get certified to teach to other educators as an EEAI Facilitator!
About Facilitating with EEAI: EEAI Facilitators are a core team of rockstar environmental educators that lead trainings in their communities, host presentations at conferences and other events, and who regularly participate in facilitator professional development and community events. If you are passionate about PLT and are ready to share it with educators in your community this is the training for you!
Expectations for EEAI facilitators include maintaining an active EEAI membership and facilitating at least one workshop per year. If you are not yet a member of EEAI choose the Non-Member option at registration and your first year of membership is included in your workshop fee!
About this training: This training is designed for educators who are familiar with the PLT and Project WILD program but are ready to learn more and are ready to teach on these programs. We also welcome folks who are new to the programs but want to dive in head first to these excellent resources for educators and start sharing it right away!
This training will act as a refresher on the PLT and Project WILD programs, share key concepts of adult pedagogy, and share the EEAI facilitator process with all participants. Come ready to learn inside and outside!
All participants will be expected to provide their own lunch (we'll have a lunch break!) but snacks and coffee/tea will be provided.
Please note, we expect all prospective facilitators to have a copy of the Project Learning Tree K-8 guide and the Project WILD K-12 guide. If you do not have those books please add them to your registration for the additional fee(s).
